Quality Analyst at Citi

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and clarify issues
• Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before production deployment
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test strategies and reports
• Support test automation efforts where applicable
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
• Support with FFS PTS Documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Experience in manual testing and exposure to automation frameworks
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Fast Framework
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Experience with SQL, ETL
