About the Role

JOB PURPOSE

To support the Head of Payment Services to acquire merchants, grow transaction volumes while managing relationships with partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Business Development:

Has shared responsibility for revenue, transaction volumes, and profitability targets of the team.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to drive consistent achievement of sales KPIs- account opening, customer acquisition and retention, deposit mobilisation and growth, Merchant acquisition and performance etc

Build relationships with clients and participate in championing product development, innovative solutions, and strategic management in the acquiring businesses (Web & Point of Sales), Merchant Services, payment services and growing overall transaction revenues in line with the Bank's Financial Inclusion strategy.

Offer tailored payment solutions

Meet or exceed sales targets

Stay up to date with payment industry trends, technologies, and regulations

Product Knowledge

Develop expertise in acquiring and payment solutions

Client Management

Provide exceptional customer service

Ensure client satisfaction and retention

Resolve client issues and concerns

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., technical support, product development)

Ensure seamless client onboarding and integration

Reporting and Analysis:

Submit regular sales reports and analyses to the unit head.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Budgeting, planning and control.

EXPERIENCE

Proven sales experience (5+ years) in payment processing, fintech, or a related industry

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and targets.

Knowledge of payment industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
