Job Requirements

Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Kenya Enrolled Nursing, Kenya Enrolled Midwifery, or Kenya Enrolled Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry qualification;

Registration Certificate from Nursing Council of Kenya;

Valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya;

Certificate in Computer Application Skills

Job Description

Entry-level training under supervision;

Assessing patients and establishing health care needs;

Planning and implementing nursing interventions;

Providing healthcare including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care, and delivery;

Providing health education and counselling to patients/clients and community;

Referring patients appropriately, facilitating admission, and initiating discharge plans;

Maintaining records of patients'/clients' health condition;

Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment; and

Collecting and compiling data.
