We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Medical Coordinator to join our Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) team in South Brisbane.

About the Role

As a Medical Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates throughout the medical and psychological assessment stages of the Defence Force Recruiting process.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team environment, you will coordinate candidate records, manage administrative processes, liaise with healthcare professionals, and help ensure a seamless experience for candidates progressing through their recruitment journey.

This is a full-time position based in South Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with ADF candidates and provide ongoing support throughout the assessment process

• Coordinate and book medical appointments

• Follow up with doctors, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation

• Perform data entry and database management tasks

• Provide general administrative support to the wider team

• Assist in monitoring service delivery timelines and performance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced administrative environment. You will also bring:

• Previous administration experience, ideally within a healthcare or medical setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

• A proactive and team-oriented approach

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance

• Current CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
