Overview

This position supports this division in the Europe Central Area administratively and is based at the Area Office in Frankfurt, Germany, reporting to the Area Temple Facilities Manager.

Role

Temples are sacred buildings that require continuous upkeep and maintenance. This enables patrons to have an uplifting and spiritual experience each time they attend. The Temple Facilities Services Division is responsible for the technical maintenance, custodial work, grounds & gardens, and security.

This position supports this division in the Europe Central Area administratively and is based at the Area Office in Frankfurt, Germany, reporting to the Area Temple Facilities Manager. Responsibilities

  • Works under the direction of the Area Administrative Assistant.
  • Supports the success of local temple facilities managers.
  • Processes payments for all temples in the Area.
  • Compiling of management reports as needed.
  • Help desk function for software used by the department (e.g. Microsoft 365, internal tools).
  • Coordinates communication with headquarters.
  • Supports purchasing card administration as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience. Vocational training in the field of office administration preferred.
  • Demonstrating computer skills and experience including Microsoft Applications, and aptitude to learn other software applications as needed.
  • Positive attitude and “can do” mentality in delivering a service and taking ownership of issues.
  • Basic business accounting skills, including understanding of invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken business English.
  • Additional European language skills are an added advantage.
