About the Role

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical/Piping Designer based in Port Harcourt.

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating technical drawings, designing machinery, and collaborating with engineering teams to develop innovative solutions.

Additionally, the role involves utilising Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, participating in Research and Development (R&D), and ensuring designs meet engineering standards and specifications.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Machine Design

Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles

Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software

Background in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative mechanical solutions

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience in the oilfield or energy sector is a valuable asset

At least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas business
