About the Role

Overview

We are seeking a BU engineering process lead to drive engineering process continuous improvement within our BU. The role involves managing the Create process, leading process improvement, and ensuring efficient daily operations through collaboration and technology utilization.

Role

As the BU engineering process lead, you will be a crucial contributor of our business unit's success. Your primary focus will be on managing the tailored BU Create process, monitoring and publishing BU metrics, ensuring the process evolving with our business goals and strategies. You will lead the process improvement board which consists of the leading PLMs and R&D managers, aiming to be the engine of BU process optimization and new technology or tool introduction, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Your responsibilities will also include guiding and training the team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize BBD (Broadband Devices) Create Process and common tools, ensuring it meets business objectives and strategies.
  • Lead the process improvement board, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Utilize Power BI, Jira, confluence effectively for data analysis and process management.
  • Oversee the portfolio, supplier, and delivery details, maintaining accurate and timely information.
  • Adapt and implement processes for AI transformation and scaled Agile methodologies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, creating a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into our operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10+ Years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an operations management role, preferably in the communications industry.
  • Experience in process improvement and optimization, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong proficiency in Jira and Power BI, with a solid understanding of MySQL, Python, and front-end UI development (VUE, bootstrap, Java) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex operational issues.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of guiding and developing high-performing teams.
