Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales and IP cross-functional teams to identify and qualify business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies for the Mission Critical Segment in Japan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and potential new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, offering insights to the team.
  • Support the team in achieving business goals and contributing to the overall success of the segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the telecom industry.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and deal closure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies and solutions is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
