About the Role

About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

Ramp has scaled to ~$125B in payment volume and 70K+ customers as a US-first company; and now we're going global. With expansion underway across Europe, Canada, and LATAM, we're hiring a Growth Lead to build from scratch in international markets.

You'll own the full international growth engine: market sequencing, channel strategy, localization decisions, and the playbook for how Ramp wins outside the US. You'll have the complete Growth Marketing bench behind you (paid, SEO/AEO, lifecycle, partner, field), but you own the number.

The role is based in London, positioned for timezone overlap across Europe and additional regions.

This is a builder-operator role that demands sharp business judgment. You'll be equally comfortable presenting a market-sequencing thesis to the exec team and auditing a paid search account hands-on. You're internally motivated, you move without being directed, and you'd rather ship a working v1 than write a memo about it.

What You'll Do

  • Own the international SQL number. You are the single accountable owner for every SQL that comes from Europe, LATAM and Canada. You set the targets, you hit them, and you report on them.

  • Run the channels through the channel owners. Direct paid, SEO/AEO, lifecycle, partner, and field leads on international execution. You set the strategy and priorities; they bring the channel craft. You stitch it into one plan per market.

  • Get your hands dirty. Audit the funnel, write the brief, stand up the comparison page, pull the data, run the experiment. Kill what doesn't work in six weeks, scale what does.

  • Identify and execute on the most promising marketing channels to build up brand awareness and trust with core buyers.

  • Be the international voice inside Ramp. Pull product, payments, compliance, brand, and sales into the decisions that matter, and make sure the homepage, pricing, and product surface reflect the markets we're live in.

What You Need

  • 6+ years in growth, marketing, or GTM at a B2B fintech, SaaS, or marketplace, with real ownership of a pipeline or revenue number

  • Based in London with strong familiarity with UK business culture and buying behaviors.

  • Track record of driving measurable pipeline growth across more than one market or region at the same time, ideally including at least one of Canada, LatAM, or Europe

  • Strong business acumen: comfort with funnel math, unit economics, and multi-currency, multi-channel pipeline forecasting

  • Founder-mode mentality with proof to back it up - you own outcomes, not deliverables; you have a track record of building, selling, or figuring something out on your own; you make fast decisions with incomplete data and don’t wait for a playbook that doesn't exist yet.

  • Demonstrable AI fluency: specific workflows, prompts, or internal tools you've built or adopted that materially changed how you work

  • Excellent cross-functional influence: you've directed channel specialists and partnered with product, legal, and sales without formal authority over them

Nice to Haves

  • Experience launching or scaling a US-headquartered product internationally

  • Background in regulated financial products (cards, payments, lending, treasury) and the marketing/compliance interplay

  • Experience with AEO and programmatic SEO as international land-grab tactics

  • Has built or hired the first growth function in a new region

Fair Warning

  • This is not a role for someone who wants a defined playbook. The playbook is what you build.

  • It's not for someone who needs a team underneath them to be productive. You direct the channel owners, but the hands-on work starts with you.

  • It's not for someone who treats AI as optional. We expect every meaningful workflow you own to have AI in the loop within the first 90 days.

  • It's London, in-office. This is not a remote role.
