About the Role

As a Brand Manager for VALORANT Eastern Europe, you will lead the strategic and tactical delivery of publishing across multiple markets, translating VALORANT’s global vision into a cohesive, multi‑market strategy that drives deep player engagement and meaningful business results. You will act as the senior publishing leader for your region, connecting product direction, marketing strategy, and esports delivery to create authentic and impactful experiences for players.

You will be accountable for defining and executing publishing strategies that balance global consistency with local relevance, ensuring that each market’s cultural and competitive context is reflected in how we show up. Partnering closely with global and regional product leadership, you will influence product priorities, shape multi‑market go‑to‑market plans, and guide execution across campaigns, creator partnerships, esports integrations, and community initiatives.

Operating at both a strategic and tactical level, you will lead cross‑functional teams, manage significant budgets, and act as the primary advocate for your markets to global leadership. Your ability to connect insight‑driven strategy with high‑impact execution will be critical in growing VALORANT’s presence, deepening community connection, and delivering on both player and business outcomes.

Reporting to the Publishing Manager DACH & Eastern Europe, the Brand Manager Eastern Europe will be based in Berlin (Germany).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own a cohesive multi‑market publishing strategy for your region that delivers against global product goals and local player needs
  • Translate global product priorities into tailored market plans that maximize player engagement and business impact
  • Act as the primary publishing voice for your region in global product discussions, shaping product and publishing decisions with regional insight
  • Lead integrated go‑to‑market plans that connect product beats, esports moments, creator activations, and cultural opportunities
  • Oversee large‑scale budgets, making data‑driven investment decisions across multiple markets
  • Build, guide, and align cross‑disciplinary teams across publishing, esports, community, creative, and commercial functions
  • Track and assess performance across campaigns and markets, applying insights to continuously optimize strategy and execution
  • Cultivate strong relationships with regional partners, media, agencies, and key influencers to amplify VALORANT’s impact across your cluster

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in publishing, marketing, or product management, preferably in games, entertainment, or tech
  • Proven experience leading high‑impact, multi‑market campaigns from strategic planning through to execution
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through market insight and player advocacy
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross‑functional and distributed teams
  • Deep understanding of FPS gaming culture and the VALORANT player community
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in Polish and English
  • Strong budget ownership experience with a track record of maximizing ROI across multiple markets

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience driving publishing strategy for major game launches or sustained live service products across multiple countries
  • Proven success integrating esports, live events, and cultural moments into holistic brand strategies
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable publishing tactics
  • Experience mentoring and developing other publishing professionals

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players' experiences, this could be your role!

Our Perks:

We offer medical, dental, and vision plans that cover you, your spouse/domestic partner, and children. Life insurance, parental leave, plus short-term and long-term disability coverage are also available. Riot will support your retirement benefits with a company match, and double down on your donations of time and money to non-profit charitable organizations. Balance between work and personal life is encouraged with open paid time off, and a play fund so you can broaden and deepen your personal relationship with games.

At Riot Games, we put players first. That mission drives every decision in our quest to create games and experiences that make it better to be a player. Whether you’re working directly on a new player-facing experience or you’re supporting the company as a whole, everyone at Riot is part of our mission. And just like in our games, we’re better when we work together. Our goal is to create collaborative teams where you are empowered to bring your unique perspective everyday. If that sounds like the kind of place you want to work, we’re looking forward to your application.
