Job Description

The Analyst, Acceptance Solutions Management, will be a key member of Visa’s Value Added Services team and a significant contributor to the success of our Acceptance Solutions in North America. This role will be specifically responsible for working with our Product, Sales and other Go-to-Market teams to help tell the story of how Visa’s offerings, such as the Visa Acceptance Platform, solve the needs of our Acquirer, Payfac, ISO and other reseller partners. The Solutions Management team tells this story through various channels (including direct client conversations), refines our Acceptance Solutions product strategy, intakes and triages client needs, coordinates roadmaps, and shares feedback on ongoing go-to-market efforts. This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay area with minimal travel expected.

The selected candidate will bring a curiosity for understanding the North American Acceptance market and our clients’ pain points, strong analytical skills, enthusiasm for cross-functional work, and a willingness to learn more about our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver regional product roadmaps that extend Visa’s relevance beyond our core network assets. This includes:
    • Developing a shared roadmap of all Visa products that support our Acceptance partners
    • Tracking updates and changes to the roadmap and ensuring internal partners are kept up-to-date
  • Support the regional solutions team in building, executing, and monitoring go-to-market motions so Solutions are easy to sell, easy to buy and easy to implement. This includes:
    • Conducting regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors’ activities and implications to inform senior executive decision-making
    • Engaging and coordinating cross-functional teams to understand the opportunity, review the health of the overall business, identify opportunities for growth, address issues to develop and structure an overall solution value proposition and initial proposal/definition
    • Creating and updating financial models and business cases to define business rationale and financial impact of investment of proposed solutions
  • Assist in building client-centric joint solutions including build, implementation, and post-launch optimization:
    • Supporting selling teams in understanding clients’ business and technical needs and how are solutions address those needs
  • Conducting regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors’ activities and implications to inform senior executive decision-making
  • Building, sharing and analyzing data on the performance of our solutions and how we can further enhance our clients’ success
  • This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:
    • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)4 or more years of experience with an Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
    • Demonstrated ability to work with large, cross-functional (e.g. product, sales, strategy, marketing) teams in matrixed, ambiguous and cross-regional environments
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor addressing a wide variety of opportunities and threats
    • Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines

    The estimated salary range for this position is $123,000.00 to $ 190,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

    Travel Requirements

    This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    Mental/Physical Requirements

    This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
