Assistant Manager, Bed Management Office

Introduction:

The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 Off-Campus Hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. The Hospital provides Zakat for those patients who are eligible, and the health systems offers generous Patient Welfare to support those in financial need. In recognition of its high quality and patient safety, AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for fast and accurate testing.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

You will report to the Manager and responsible to facilitate Service Line for safe patient allocation and timely access to beds for our patients in coordination with the relevant teams.
You also expected to perform support activities of resource Management by coordinating with the service line.
Provide timely updates to respective hospital management about the status of hospital activities.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

BScN from a recognized school of nursing; Masters in Nursing will be preferred
Valid registration from Pakistan Nursing Council
5-7 years of clinical/administrative experience
better know how of current clinical and research literature and is familiar with nursing quality assurance and continuous quality improvement
effective skills in problem solving and crisis management
leadership skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
excellent teaching skills.
