Project Sr Analyst - C12 - GURUGRAM at Citi

The Senior Ops Engineers is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

•Define, document, and monitor operational readiness criteria for change implementation

•As-Is/To-Be Process Mapping

•Develop and deliver training for internal teams and clients on new features

•Go-live communication on new product/ features.

•Responsible for data governance of business rules, review, and approval of data for new enhancement

•Access entitlement management

•Define Static Data / rules configuration update

•Work with operations to ensure any necessary Risk and Control updates are understood and implemented, including manual/bespoke process risk assessment & approvals

•Co-ordinates operations tasks for the release weekend

•Provide support to Operations post implementation (hyper care for a defined period), acting as a liaison between development and operational teams during early life support

•Co-ordinate Sanity testing & Production Verification Testing (PVT) execution as needed for projects getting released into production, including preparing PVT scenarios / plans/scripts/supporting documents for sign off.

•Ensure a robust commercialization plan is in place for projects to ensure operational readiness and track through execution (product commercialisation remain responsibility of the respective Product Manager

• Depending on the size and complexity of an initiative, senior Ops Engineers will assume additional responsibilities in support of the e2e Readiness, including:

•Lead the operational readiness workstream for complex / high profile projects

•Representing the Operational Readiness workstream in project meetings

•Define and document the operational strategy for new solutions

•Provide input to Ops decisioning for go/no-go conversations

Qualifications:

8-10 years relevant experience

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Agile certifications like scrum master, product owner will be added advantage
