Expression of Interest - Biodiversity Consulting Senior Associate/Consultant at Environmental Resources Management (ERM)

ERM is looking for junior professionals with passion and some experience in the field of environmental and biodiversity impact assessment to join our Capital Project Delivery team in Bangkok.

Role responsibility:

• Join the team, and you will work closely with service line leaders and senior project managers who will coach you and help you develop subject matter expertise. You will support them by analyzing and interpreting a wide range of environmental and social data, with a focus on global biodiversity datasets.
• Perform site visits or inspections and supervise subcontractors as and when required for projects. Focus on preparing international environmental impact assessment and management plans.
• Provide biodiversity support, as and when needed, by undertaking research and data analysis for environmental and social managers within the broader Capital Delivery Project - IAP team.
• You will learn the challenges our clients face and how ERM’s solution will be able to help them achieve their business goals. You may be required to do some domestic or international travel.

Ideal candidate:

• We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with a Masters level degree in science related subjects such as Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Geography or related programs.
• We welcome applications from 1-5 years of experience in biodiversity, conservation, or nature resource management.

Additional requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to produce detailed and coherent written reports
• Excellent English communication and writing skills
