About the Role

Job Summary

As a Project Manager – Social & Human Rights Consulting, you will lead and deliver complex sustainability, ESG, and social sustainability engagements with a strong focus on social impact, stakeholder engagement, and human rights. You will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary project teams, overseeing end‑to‑end project delivery, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients across the Asia Pacific region.

This role involves guiding clients on integrating social and human rights considerations into business strategies, leading human rights due diligence (HRDD) programs, and designing initiatives that enhance community wellbeing and responsible business conduct. You will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership, client management, and mentoring capabilities to ensure delivery excellence and meaningful impact.

You will ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of social sustainability projects while building trusted client relationships and developing future talent. Through leadership, collaboration, and innovation, you will contribute to the growth of ERM’s Social & Human Rights practice and help clients create lasting positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead and manage projects across a variety of sectors, clients, and countries in Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading the design and delivery of sustainability, CSR, and social impact strategies, including goal setting and implementation roadmaps;
  • Managing stakeholder engagement programs, community surveys, and participatory consultation processes;
  • Leading or overseeing SROI assessments and social impact valuation frameworks;
  • Managing the development of corporate sustainability, ESG, and integrated reports;
  • Leading social and human rights risk assessments, including identification of emerging social trends and material issues;
  • Serving as a primary client point of contact, managing scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables;
  • Collaborating closely with ERM’s sustainability and social technical community across the region;
  • Contributing to business development, proposal preparation, and thought leadership activities;
  • Representing ERM as a speaker, facilitator, or MC at client and external events related to social sustainability and community impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in social sciences, international development, sustainability, public policy, or related fields;
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in social sustainability, ESG, human rights, CSR, SROI, HRDD, or related fields (consulting experience strongly preferred);
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and managing teams in multi-country or complex stakeholder environments;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into practical recommendations;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai, with confidence engaging senior client stakeholders;
  • Strong project management, organizational, and commercial skills;
