About the Role
Our client, a premier hospitality establishment in the Maasai Mara, is seeking to recruit an ambitious, energetic, and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive bookings and revenue growth.
The successful candidate will be based in Nairobi and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, destination management companies (DMCs), and other tourism stakeholders. The role requires a highly motivated professional who can aggressively market hospitality services, generate leads, secure bookings, and grow market share.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and market the camp\'s accommodation, conference, leisure, and tourism packages.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the travel and hospitality industry.
- Generate bookings through travel agents, tour operators, corporate organizations, and direct clients.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular sales calls and client visits.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Visit travel agencies, tour operators, and travel consultants regularly.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key travel trade stakeholders.
- Conduct product presentations and sales pitches to travel professionals.
- Ensure travel agents remain updated on packages, offers, and promotions.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial business arrangements with travel partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and reservations.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Handle customer concerns and coordinate resolutions promptly.
- Participate in travel exhibitions, trade fairs, networking events, and tourism promotions.
- Support digital marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor information.
- Provide recommendations on new markets and business opportunities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings.
- Track sales performance against targets.
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years\' experience in hospitality, tourism, hotel, camp, lodge, or travel industry sales.
- Experience working with travel agents, tour operators, and tourism stakeholders will be a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of the Kenyan tourism and hospitality market is highly desirable.
