Job Description

    Lead and manage strategic change, learning, and regulatory governance initiatives across the business unit. Responsible for designing and delivering impactful change management and learning strategies that align with business goals, enhance organizational capability, and prepare stakeholders for transformation. This role provides oversight of regulatory learning governance, ensuring compliance, risk, governance requirements, while driving engagement, leadership capability, performance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

    Responsibilities

    Change Management & Strategy

    • Lead organizational change initiatives ensuring stakeholder readiness and alignment with strategic goals.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes.
    • Design and implement project and program management frameworks.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and recovery plans.

    Learning & Development

    • Design and deliver high-quality L&D programs, including leadership development and coaching.
    • Conduct learning needs analysis and align interventions with business priorities.
    • Manage performance and development of L&D teams and initiatives.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

    • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.
    • Oversee internal communications related to change and learning programs.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic alignment and talent development.

    Data & Insights

    • Utilize HR data analytics to diagnose business issues and inform learning and change strategies.
    • Manage HR data requirements to support decision-making and performance tracking.

    Organizational Development

    • Build organizational capability through formal development frameworks.
    • Coach and mentor team members to support talent growth.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across change and learning functions.

    Operational Leadership

    • Develop and manage budgets for change and learning programs.
    • Engage and manage external consultants and contractors.
    • Ensure policy development and implementation within areas of responsibility.
    • Demonstrates strong expertise in Regulatory Learning frameworks relevant to the Life Insurance sector, including governance requirements, compliance standards, and continuous regulatory training obligations.
    • Partners with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations to design learning strategies that mitigate regulatory risk and embed a culture of responsible conduct.
    • Tech‑savvy with the ability to evaluate, recommend, and strategically deploy emerging learning technologies, including AI-driven learning tools, adaptive learning platforms, and automation solutions.
    • Able to translate organisational learning needs into a clear digital learning strategy, guiding the selection and integration of new systems and tools.
    • Collaborates across HR, IT, and business functions to ensure learning technology investments deliver measurable impact, scalability, and a superior user experience.
    • Promotes a culture of experimentation and innovation by championing future-forward learning trends, data-driven decision-making, and continuous capability building.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • General Experience: 8+ years in Learning & Development, Change Management and Regulatory Governance
    • Managerial Experience: 7+ years leading teams and strategic initiatives
    • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
