ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Medical Screener to join our Brisbane CBD Clinic on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week).

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in delivering professional health screening services while ensuring every client receives a positive, efficient and high-quality experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

• Conduct a range of medical screening assessments
• Collect pathology specimens
• Accurately label and process pathology specimens
• Maintain precise and up-to-date screening documentation
• Ensure a smooth and efficient candidate journey through screening and treatment services
• Perform audiometry testing
• Conduct spirometry testing
• Undertake ECG testing
• Provide general administrative support to the clinic team

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will be organised, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional service. You will also bring:

• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
• A genuine focus on customer service and patient care
• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection (desirable but not essential)
• Previous medical or clinical experience, particularly phlebotomy experience, will be highly regarded
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain one
