We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Project Manager to lead Automotive Embedded Software development projects for Chinese OEM customers in the Airbag domain.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving software project delivery with full ownership of quality, cost, timeline, scope, and stakeholder alignment while collaborating with global and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on Software Development strategy
  • Manage SW Requirement from analysis to acceptance
  • Plan and ensure delivery of SW work packages
  • Control the SW Cost according to the SW Project Budget
  • Ensure SW Quality and compliance with SW Development Process
  • Inform SW project status and escalate for SW Project barriers
  • Ensure achievement of the SW project targets
  • Analysis of requirement based on verification tracking results (SW)
  • Reporting of SW-Project Status to Management in PRC - Level4

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, or related fields

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software development
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Project Management or Technical Project Leadership
  • Experience in Automotive Embedded Software projects is preferred
  • Experience working with Chinese OEM/customers is a strong advantage

Technical Knowledge

  • Good understanding of Embedded Software development lifecycle
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety concepts
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, Agile/Scrum, or ECU software development is an advantage

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership and teamwork mindset
  • Able to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments

Language

  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Chinese language capability is a strong advantage
