We are looking for a motivated individual to support projects in Assembly and Interconnect Technology (AIT), with a focus on practical material reliability testing.
- During your internship, you will carry out hands-on metallurgical laboratory work, including preparing cross-sections and conducting optical microscopic analyses of AIT systems.
- You will help with the statistical evaluation of solder joint quality and reliability, as well as the structured documentation of results.
- Last but not least, this position will give you valuable practical experience at the interface of materials analysis, laboratory testing and data-driven evaluation.
- Education: Master studies in the field of Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge:
- of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint)
- laboratory experience
- basic materials engineering knowledge
- experience with the Python programming language desirable
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a curious individual with a hands-on approach and a structured working style; you pay close attention to detail
- Work Routine: your on-site presence is required
- Languages: business fluent in English
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
The internship may be extended beyond the required mandatory internship period by mutual agreement.
