About the role
- We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in video editing but is also skilled in graphic design. The successful candidate will have a sharp eye for storytelling, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to collaborate with a creative team to deliver high-quality visual content.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality motion videos, ensuring engaging storytelling and seamless transitions.
- Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and other visual effects into video content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute compelling video projects.
- Create graphic design assets for digital and print platforms as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software, and editing techniques to enhance output.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in video editing and graphic design, preferably in an agency or creative environment.
- Diploma in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Ability to bring a unique point of view to video editing and problem-solving.
- Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cohesively within a larger creative team.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
