About the Role

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Create Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) technical strategy, architecture, application design and tools usability, envisioning business purpose for several stakeholders across 1st and 2nd line. Develop and articulate analytical framework to solve business challenges within WCR area, including Derivatives, Securities, and, Lending products. Identify areas for simplification, automation and technology synergies to reduce operational costs and risks. Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of credit risk metrics (i.e., Pre-Settlement Exposure, Net Stress Exposure, Sensitivities) and multiple data sets. Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization. Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies. Ensure robust quantity control in the analytical processes for Derivatives and Securities exposure calculation and data. Automate, simplify, and consolidate Global processes performed across geographical locations. Leverage specialized knowledge with Citi’s data analysis tools. Design, implement, and test processes. Use Citi’s internal Data Quality monitoring and remediation end to end processes and procedures. Coordinate Citi’s technology book of work for his function. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Business or related field and 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Business Analytics Group Manager, Risk Operations Analyst, Risk Control Analyst, Market Risk Reporting intern or related position involving the coordination, design, conduct project management, and implementation of key automation efforts. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 10 years of the specified progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience. 8 years of experience must include: Risk Management in Banking industry expertise; Agile Project Management methodologies and tools (SCRUM, JIRA) to articulate and formalize requirements for systems and architecture development and track to completion; Ensure robustness of designed systems flows and technical solutions; Influence stakeholders from Business and IT to prioritize and implement key deliverables; Financial products - Derivatives, Securities and Lending products; Using analytical, technical and statistical skills to translate large volumes of data; and Synthesize concepts, and translate them into "user-friendly" language for multiple audiences, including senior management. Must have 2 years of experience with: Data Analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI Tools and Python code) to analyze credit risk datasets to identify data patterns and anomalies.
