Team/Role Overview
The Cash Product Generalist is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team as well as ensure compliance with Product Governance standards & procedures.
The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market, engage with all client segments in the promotion of cash product and obtain competitive position.
Please note - this is maternity cover position.
What you’ll do
Product responsibilities
- Country lead for assigned cash management product transformation initiatives and regional/ global projects
- Develop detailed product requirements and conduct market readiness evaluations during testing phases to ensure product quality and performance goals are met
- Responsible for managing the regulatory book of work for assigned sub-set of cash management products in close cooperation with regional and global partners
- Responsible for achieving target revenues and meeting target expenses across cash management products to which she/he is assigned
- Development and implementation of core and innovative Cash products and services in respond to market demand and/or FMI developments and/or customer requirements and in coordination with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Regional Product
- Formulation of pricing for cash management products and services in line with market conditions and product cost dynamics
- Developing market knowledge through analysis, segmentation and industry behavior
Clients
- Act as the client advisor for assigned cash management products by developing the required product knowledge
- Contribute to increasing client satisfaction and respond promptly to client escalations
- Coordinating with TTS Operations and Client Delivery to ensure smooth, consistent and quality operational delivery of assigned cash management products and regulatory changes
- Identifying cross-sell opportunities, participate in structuring successful sales proposals and responses to client RfPs
Risk and controls
- Compliance with Product Governance Standards including ensuring Product Approval Programs and Capability Grids are up to date
- Ensuring compliance with Citi and local regulatory policies/requirements
- Ensuring risk management for cash management products and services
What we’ll need from you
- Relevant experience with good knowledge of cash management products, corporate banking practices in the product management space
- Experience managing across multi-function or global business
- Experience managing in a large, complex and matrixed organization
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the industry, banking, cash management, channels and account services
- To be very familiar with cash management products on the market and with the different types customers’ segments, to know the competition well and to be aware of the local regulations and policies.
- Working knowledge of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function
- Knowledge in MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word. Project management is a plus
- Product and client oriented
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Fluent in Bulgarian and English.
