PMO CoordinatorInnovation & Portfolio (North America)

Location: Hackensack, United States (Hybrid)

Function: Product & Portfolio / Innovation

Reports to: PMO Manager N.America [dotted line - Global Head of P&P / N.America Head of Marketing]

Why this role matters

This role exists to support the build and day-to-day execution of a fit-for-purpose PMO capability for the North America (NA) business, enabling disciplined coordination and tracking of innovation and portfolio priorities.

As Flora Food Group continues to scale consumer-led innovation, the NA business requires strong operational support to ensure projects are tracked, updated and progressed effectively across functions. The PMO Coordinator acts as a critical enabler of execution discipline, supporting the PMO Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives land on time, in full, and with clear visibility.

This role is critical to improving execution consistency, reducing follow-up gaps, and enabling teams to focus on decision-making rather than administration.

Role impact

Operating at the intersection of coordination and execution, you will help:

  • Support delivery of the N. America PMO operating model, aligned to global P&P / PMO standards.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of innovation and portfolio initiatives, acting as a reliable source for status, actions and next steps.
  • Enable structured execution by maintaining project plans, tracking milestones and supporting governance cadence.
  • Improve visibility, follow-through and coordination across the NA portfolio.

What you’ll do

PMO support & governance

  • Support implementation of the North America PMO framework, aligned to global standards.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, milestone trackers and governance templates.
  • Support governance cadences (weekly updates, monthly reviews, escalation forums) by preparing inputs and ensuring follow-through.
  • Ensure high-quality data maintenance in portfolio & project management systems.

Project coordination & execution support

  • Support the planning and coordination of priority innovation and portfolio initiatives from early-stage through to post-launch.
  • Maintain integrated project timelines based on briefs, commercial trade windows and key milestones.
  • Track dependencies, actions and progress across functions and projects.
  • Proactively flag risks, delays and gaps to the PMO Manager and project teams.
  • Coordinate weekly project updates, ensuring clear actions, owners and status tracking.

Cross-functional coordination

  • Support coordination across Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Procurement and Operations.
  • Follow up on key inputs and deliverables (e.g. briefs, business cases, readiness milestones).
  • Support preparation of governance forums and leadership updates with clear, structured inputs.
  • Ensure transparency of status, risks and next steps across stakeholders.

Capability building

  • Support development of the N.A. PMO capability, including templates, trackers, and playbooks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of execution practices, tools and ways of working.
  • Act as a role model for organisation, discipline and attention to detail.

What this role is (and is not)

  • You support execution and coordination, working under the guidance of the PMO Manager.
  • You are not responsible for project content ownership or strategic decision-making.
  • You simplify and enable through structure and follow-through — not add bureaucracy.

About you

You bring strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You are detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to keep work on track.

Key experience

  • 5+ years experience in project coordination, PMO, or similar roles (FMCG / CPG or complex environments preferred).
  • Experience supporting project tracking, reporting and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Exposure to innovation, transformation or portfolio initiatives is a plus.
  • Familiarity with stage-gate processes or structured project delivery approaches is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint and project tracking tools.

Critical capabilities

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Clear and confident communicator across functions.
  • Proactive and reliable, with strong follow-through.
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.

Ways of working

  • Structured, organised and detail-focused.
  • Proactive in tracking and follow-up.
  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities.
  • Focused on clarity, transparency and consistency.
