About the Role

Role Overview:

  • We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the development of high-quality visual materials that communicate research insights, data and brand messaging effectively. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming complex information into clear, engaging and visually appealing outputs, including static and animated visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce visually engaging materials including research reports, presentations, infographics, dashboards and data visualizations
  • Design executive-level presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Translate data, insights and complex research findings into clear, engaging and visually appealing formats
  • Create animated/motion graphics content to enhance storytelling and audience engagement
  • Develop and maintain brand-consistent creative assets
  • Collaborate with research, communications and business development teams to conceptualize and deliver design solutions
  • Prepare final artwork for print and digital use, ensuring high quality and accuracy
  • Support the design of content for social media, website and client presentations
  • Produce and edit high-quality video and motion graphics content
  • Stay up to date with design trends and propose innovative approaches to enhance the company’s visual communication
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Art and Design, Visual Communication or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in graphic design, preferably within a research, consulting, NGO or corporate environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in report design, data visualization, branding, video editing and motion/animated content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics/animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro or similar)
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout design and data visualization principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Advanced skills in motion graphics and video editing
  • Experience designing executive-level presentations (PowerPoint)
