Introduction:
The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 Off-Campus Hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. The hospital provides zakat for those patients who are eligible, and the health systems offers generous patient welfare to support those in financial need. In recognition of its high quality and patient safety, the AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for fast and accurate testing.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- work closely with the multidisciplinary teams and provide concierge oversight to strengthen private wing patients
manage operations of assigned departments and ensure all issues are dealt promptly and effectively
- handle patients' queries by taking periodic rounds to ensure smooth operations in assigned areas for keeping customers satisfied
- support manager to coordinate market research plans to identify new opportunities and working with the multidisciplinary team to implement approved strategies to capitalize new opportunities
- develop and implement cost effective marketing strategies and ensure achievement of volumes and revenue targets
- provide patient-centric orientation to all staff and conduct sessions / activities to enhance patient/staff satisfaction
- handle patient complaints and deal with crisis situations in a professional manner
- facilitate in the development of an integrated health care system of primary, secondary and tertiary care hospitals to provide patients easy access to quality care services.
- work as "Administrator On-call" on holidays and after working hours, as and when required and visit the hospital to solve issues which require immediate attention
- active team participation during internal/external hospital audits.
Requirements:
You should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, preferably a Master’s degree
- at least three to four years of related experience in service industry, preferably in healthcare organisation of good repute
- excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well in English and Urdu languages
- ability to multi-task and effectively work in teams as well as independently
- excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- knowledge of budgeting and proficiency in the use of computers
- willingness to work in shift duties
