  • Shaping technical and regulatory pathways for renewable and power-sector initiatives.
  • Driving multi-team coordination, communication, and planning to keep complex projects aligned.
  • Ensuring smooth execution of Environmental Assessments at both state and federal levels.
  • Providing high-quality review and analysis of environmental impacts to natural resources.
  • Serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to internal teams and client stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated leadership in training and mentoring team members.
  • Experience leading multi-team meetings and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to support field assignments approximately 50% of the time.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience working with federal agencies and familiarity with NEPA-related and state impact‑assessment requirements.
  • Background in energy or transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the permitting process for power and technology-sector projects.
  • Coordinate comprehensive document reviews and support development of key project documentation.
  • Track analysis efforts to ensure alignment with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across ERM and client organizations.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and authorizations are secured.
  • Facilitate communication among diverse stakeholders to maintain progress and meet deadlines.
  • Lead multi-team meetings to assess progress, identify risks, and plan strategically.
  • Review project documentation to assess potential impacts on soils, wildlife, vegetation, wetlands, and natural resources.
  • Manage successful execution of state and federal Environmental Assessments.
  • Prepare technical reports, meeting notes, presentations, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Assist in resolving project challenges to maintain momentum and efficiency.
  • Perform wetland delineations following the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual and Regional Supplements.
  • Provide creative, fit‑for‑purpose technical analyses within your specialty and support interdisciplinary work with subject‑matter experts.
  • Conduct field surveys, collect and organize field data, perform research/literature reviews, write reports, and develop strategies and recommendations for clients.
