About the Role

Purpose of the Assignment

The Brand Experience Officer will be responsible for shaping how customers, partners, farmers, communities, and stakeholders experience the MAMLO brand. The role will focus on creating compelling content, capturing impactful stories, documenting field activities, supporting campaigns, strengthening brand visibility, and ensuring that every interaction with MAMLO reflects our mission, values, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Storytelling and Content Creation

  • Capture and document stories from farmers, customers, staff, distributors, and communities.
  • Develop engaging photo, video, and written content showcasing MAMLO's products, impact, and journey.
  • Create content that highlights nutrition, women's economic empowerment, food systems transformation, and entrepreneurship.
  • Build a library of high-quality brand assets including photographs, videos, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Support the development of founder and leadership visibility content.

Brand Experience Development

  • Help ensure a consistent and memorable MAMLO experience across all customer and stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Support the design and execution of brand campaigns that increase awareness and engagement.
  • Strengthen the emotional connection between consumers and the MAMLO brand.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer and stakeholder experiences.

Product and Consumer Visibility

  • Develop product-focused content that supports consumer education and purchasing decisions.
  • Create content around product benefits, nutrition, recipes, and customer experiences.
  • Support visibility initiatives during activations, exhibitions, trade fairs, and community events.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead and Sales Team to support product promotion activities.

Events and Field Documentation

  • Document key events, trainings, activations, community engagements, and stakeholder visits.
  • Produce event highlights, impact stories, and visual reports.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during field visits and company activities.

Brand Partnerships and Thought Leadership Support

  • Support the development of materials that position MAMLO as a leading voice in nutrition, rural development, and food systems innovation.
  • Assist in developing content for strategic partnerships, donor engagements, investor communications, and speaking engagements.
  • Support visibility of MAMLO leadership and organizational achievements.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Communications Officer to provide content for social media and communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team, Marketing Lead, Production Team, and Growth & Impact Team to identify stories and content opportunities.
    Support company-wide branding and visibility initiatives.

Key Deliverables

  • Monthly content production plan.
  • Minimum of 8–12 high-quality videos per month.
  • Minimum of 20 professionally edited photographs per month
  • Monthly farmer, customer, or impact story.
  • Event and activation documentation reports.
  • Updated brand asset library
  • Quarterly brand visibility report.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Media, Public Relations, Photography, Videography, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in content creation, brand development, media production, or storytelling.
  • Experience working with consumer brands, social enterprises, agriculture, food, or development organizations is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Photography and videography.
  • Video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
  • Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).
    Content writing and storytelling.
  • Social media content production.
  • Understanding of branding and consumer engagement.
