About the Role

Effectively work with your supervisor in the analysis of the performance of the Bancassurance Channel and propose and implement initiatives for the growth of the channel.
Periodically conducting market review and analysis of the banking industry to drive business performance
Review Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for bancassurance business
Processing of tenders and ensuring their timely submission
Follow-up renewals to ensure business retention is optimised and the prescribed retention ratio is achieved

Effective relationship management to drive sustained business relationships with Britam’s bank stakeholders

Driving Sales generated by the Bancassurance Consultants

Drive the achievement of the Bancassurance Channel sales revenue targets

Ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements

Liaise and support the Bancassurance agents/consultants to ensure adherence to company policies and achievement of channel targets

Support on onboarding and trainings Bancassurance agents/consultants

Participate in training bank officers on Britam General Insurance products to enable them sell effectively

In liaison with Finance, ensure the timely payment of Bank commissions

Timely preparation of Bancassurance Channel reports

Deliver on performance requirements as defined in the departments’ strategy map and Personal Scorecard.

Perform any other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
Demonstrated proficiency in computer/software packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
2-3 years’ experience in a similar position

Experience working with diverse teams

Experience working in the financial services sector with focus on business development is an added advantage
