Acts as producer of smaller-scale projects, or as a high-level coordinator assigned to one or more projects.
Role
Produce and coordinate productions and messages that invite all God's children to follow Jesus Christ. Lead powerful live productions to touch hearts, minds, and spirits. Partner to find, create, and lead solutions that meet the divinely appointed responsibilities of the Church delivered via live events and/or broadcasts. Foster an environment of trust and unity and build upon each other's strengths and ideas to manage and provide compelling products and develop clear and timely communication.
This position provides trusted creative vision, simple project management, and production expertise to create compelling and influential deliverables.
About The Company
Responsibilities
Acts as producer of smaller-scale projects, or as a high-level coordinator assigned to one or more projects.
A Project Manager 40%:
- Complete, end-to-end management of assigned projects.
- Gain the necessary approvals to initiate the project.
- Counsel and collaborate with the product management team to understand their needs, purposes, missions, visions, and ideals.
- Ensure projects meet the scope, schedule, and budget requirements to accomplish the work at the prescribed level of quality.
- Hold resource teams and internal and external partners accountable to meet their commitments.
- Ensure that crew scheduling software accurately reflects project schedules and timelines.
- Employ approved tools, processes, and policies.
- Coordinate hand-offs between groups that are working collaboratively.
A Production Expert 40%:
- Lead all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production logistics including production plans and documentation, approvals, contingencies, intellectual property, vendor contracts, permits, travel, incidentals, product deliverable and the archival of the deliverable for live events and other projects of small and simple characteristics, with crews of 2-10 people.
- Translate the of scope into the needed equipment and crew to accomplish the project objectives.
- Provide creative consultation, work with others cross-functionally and execute production deliverables by employing specialized knowledge and industry expertise.
- Schedule and supervise crews for various events (2-10 people).
- Become a production liaison between sponsoring departments and production associates.
- Understand and execute the principles and operation of broadcast and theatrical systems.
- Ensure all logistics for production are covered (contracts, locations, travel, permits, meals, etc.).
A Communication Hub 20%:
- Meet directly and frequently with product managers and other stakeholders regarding project level decisions.
- Disseminate production information promptly to the pertinent teams and individuals.
- Work in tandem with Resource Managers and Schedulers to get the right people in place to complete the project, including service partners and potential vendors.
- Use Workfront and other reporting tools to monitor and regularly communicate project health to appropriate stakeholders.
- Develop a relationship of communication and trust with sponsoring departments, management and production crew.
- Recommend improvements based on customer objectives and success criteria.
- Participate regularly in a community of practice meetings and activities as well as other professional development efforts.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree. Preferably in a related field. Minimum of four years experience working in theatrical, broadcast and events production or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must have an understanding of and experience in all aspects of event production including, but not limited to, technical direction, stage management, lighting, sound reinforcement, video projection, camera and video engineering, and intercommunication.
- Proven initiative and ability to champion a project from conception through to completion.
- Ability to lead a multi-discipline team (up to 10 people) in accomplishing assigned production deliverables from a client.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments and projects in the face of multiple duties.
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing customer relationships.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Ability to strategize, collaborate with, and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
- Show an understanding of technical workflows.
- Industry expertise in best practices with proficient broadcast technology acumen.
- Able to move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
