As part of Citi’s Services business, Securities Services is a global business that provides Custody, Fund Services, Issuer Services and Execution Services to global asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, banks, and financial intermediaries. Position summary

The Product Manager is an individual contributor position responsible for assisting with the design and execution of the Fund Services business strategy.

This role is primarily focused on the technical elements of data models, curation and delivery mechanisms for APAC Client and Regulatory Reporting, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Performance Reporting. The role is also focused on the product design and delivery incorporating AI platforms for APAC clients and their stakeholders with an initial focus on Australia but also encompassing data and reporting responsibilities across the broader Fund Services in APAC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating through product life cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. This individual will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, designing new capabilities, and expanding market share.

She/he will work closely with Finance, Business Execution Services, and Product Development to ensure alignment across the portfolio of work for the Fund Accounting and Administration business within the broader Fund Services organization. The Product Manager may also work on ad hoc projects as required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee strategic roadmap for assigned programs including development, launch, and engagement with Sales to drive maximum benefit. Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, both revenue and expense management
  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Contribute to the localization and implementation of global Fund Accounting and Administration strategies within the APAC
  • Identify areas where differentiation matters to APAC operations and clients, and support execution to ensure value from differentiated capabilities is realized
  • Provide APAC-specific insights to influence global strategy and product direction
  • Define and execute the data access and distribution strategy for APAC clients, including delivery mechanisms, entitlement frameworks, and client-facing data services
  • Identify and develop new data distribution channels and self-service access models that reduce operational dependency and enhance the client experience
  • Advance the adoption of a unified data model across APAC, enabling AI-powered analytics, improving data accuracy, and reducing operational risk
  • Own the client reporting experience for APAC, ensuring consistency, reliability, and accuracy across all fund administration deliverables
  • Support the end-to-end deliver of transformation programs and projects within APAC, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes, especially those driven by AI platforms
  • Identification and execution of opportunities and remediation of product gaps ensuring the business remains competitive
  • Drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products and manage vendor relationships
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup
  • Work closely with the Business Execution team to manage key metrics for the business including financial, client satisfaction, risk and control
  • Assist in the consolidate of information from multiple sources including sales, finance, client coverage, risk, operations, and technology to create a comprehensive view of the performance of the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
  • Functional experience in marketing, product development, or data analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Experience with Data Modelling, lineage, and hygiene standards
  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks, large language models, or AI-driven automation in an operations or reporting context
  • Strong technical understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks, fund accounting principles, financial reporting standards, tax reporting requirements, and performance and risk measurement methodologies.
  • Proven experience with data architecture, data governance, and data quality initiatives, particularly in the context of financial data for APAC markets.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
