The Instructional Design & Learning Strategy Lead will design and deliver engaging learning experiences while building a best-in-class, scalable learning ecosystem. The role will also define the AI learning strategy for the organisation, as well as determine how AI is integrated into learning, both as a tool for development and as a capability employees must learn to use effectively.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and build a core learning curriculum that supports foundational skills across the organization. The core curriculum will cover onboarding, professional skills, company-specific knowledge, and role-readiness pathways.
  • Develop a structured leadership curriculum for emerging and mid-level leaders covering topics such as coaching, delegation, feedback, decision-making, strategic thinking, and people management.
  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities (instructor-led, virtual, self-paced e-learning, and blended) using modern instructional design practices.
  • Apply evidence-based learning principles (e.g., spaced repetition, scenario-based learning, microlearning) to maximize knowledge retention and behaviour change.
  • Establish scalable learning frameworks, templates, and standards for course design and delivery.
  • Partner with People Ops and Talent Team to identify capability gaps within the organisation and design targeted learning solutions.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using learner feedback, performance data, and business impact metrics.
  • Facilitation:
    • Facilitate workshops, cohort programs, and leadership sessions (virtual and in-person).
    • Create psychologically safe, high-energy learning environments that encourage participation and reflection.
    • Gather real-time feedback and iterate on delivery approach accordingly.
  • AI Learning & Adoption Strategy:
    • Develop and implement an AI learning and adoption strategy that helps employees effectively use AI tools in their work.
    • Integrate AI into learning design, content development, and learner support.
    • Partner with technology and business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate them into targeted learning interventions.
  • Stay current on AI developments and continuously refresh content to reflect the evolving landscape.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Skills you’ll need:

    • 10+ years in instructional design, L&D, or a closely related field.
    • Demonstrated experience building structured curricula from the ground up.
    • Strong facilitation skills.
    • Proficiency with at least one e-learning authoring tool and one LMS/LXP.
    • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and practical applications in a business context.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to distil complex topics into clear, accessible content.
    • Strong stakeholder collaboration and curriculum design skills.
    • Ability to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions.
    • Reliable and predictable availability.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in financial services, technology, or other fast-paced, highly analytical environments.
    • Familiarity with learning measurement frameworks (Kirkpatrick, Phillips ROI, etc.).
    • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools to accelerate content development workflows.

    Benefits include:
