This a grant funded contractual position.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible to develop, design and testing of native Android applications. Collaborate with development and design teams to create new features and improve the user experience.
Specific responsibilities will be:
Supervise the statistical aspects of research projects, including study design, protocol development, sample size estimation, subject randomization, statistical analyses, and presentation of data;
supervise and conduct statistical analyses and interpret results of analyses for research studies. Maintain consistent analytical approaches and reporting formats within and across studies;
understand and use advance statistical software packages. As needed, writes programs to select, retrieve, manipulate, edit, and analyze data;
review all project protocols and data collection tools to ensure that collected data meet project’s needs, statistical and scientific requirements;
assist data management staff in the design of study databases. As needed, reviews study database structures and data management project conventions. Reviews and writes error checking specifications for projects as per need;
provides support for data presentation for publication of research studies results;
ensures the integrity of research projects data and provide supervision for data quality assurance;
convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues;
training and support the ongoing development of analytic competencies among team of data analysts/data supervisors;
provide Support in arranging workshops/seminars;
conduct lectures/sessions for clinicians and researchers on study designs, sampling, data management and statistical analysis plan;
national and international travelling as per the requirement of project.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
MS/MSc in Statistics or/Economics/IT/Software Engineering.
3 or more years of experience preferably in the field of Research and handling large scale studies/surveys;
excellent Command on STATA/R/SPSS and other Statistical Packages;
proficient in Spreadsheets and power point presentation;
sound knowledge of Databases and programming;
strong verbal and written communication skills;

strong management / supervision skills;
willing to travel on regular basis on national and international visits.
